Just Add Ink #326...Project Life!

JAI #326-Project Life

Welcome to this weeks Just Add Ink challenge post.  Rochelle has challenged us to add Project Life to our projects.
Over the past few years l have been collecting random bits of PL products and couldn't resist adding the "Hello Lovely" PL card collection in the main SU catalogue.
Now l have to fess up to not actually ever creating a PL layout/pocket thingy as l keep forgetting to purchase the pages..:0)
I did have every intention of getting them prior to this challenge, but as you can see it didn't happen. So l was left to creating a card using one from the kit...Now as much as love this PL card, it's not my absolute fave, but l didn't want to waste one on a card in case l needed it for that far off time when l do eventually buy the pages..lol

Anyway...here it is and l do think it's rather pretty and will be perfect for an earthy loving girl celebrating a b'day soon.
Not sure if you can see it all that well, but l added some copper accents using the fine tip glue and the yummy copper embossing powder (l did heat it) and the lovely copper twine...It is really pretty IRL.

Just Add Ink #325...Sketch!

Hey blog friends, it's time for a new Just Add Ink  challenge. This week Tina has provided a lovely simple sketch for us to play with.
I've used the little scallop thinlit from the "Popcorn Box" to create the negative scalloped space and teamed it with the fun "Pop of Paradise" suite and the colours from those.
The circle sentiment is from the (retired) hostess set "A whole lot of lovely" and coloured with markers.

The design team have some great projects to share, so don't forget to pop over to the challenge blog and take a peek.

Just Add Ink #324...Inspiration!

Hey there! This weeks lovely inspiration challenge over at Just Add Ink is from Trish. It's such a dreamy image and holds the promise of our up coming spring.
I have used Kraft cardstock as the timber element and added blossoms and greenery as per the inspiration.
I decided it was a little blah and added some gold embossing to the congrats diecut from the lovely "Sunshine Sayings" set from Stampin Up!

The rest of the design team have created some gorgeous projects, so don't forget to pop over and check those out.

Just Add Ink #323.."Just Add F"

Happy Friday friends! It's time to share another Just Add Ink challenge. Tina has challenged us to use "F" on our projects this week. Simple and fun!
I went with lots of "Flirty Flamingo" and some dainty "flowers" combining them with the Birthday Builder set from SU.
I've been revisiting this set a bit lately, it's such a fun and simple way to create a birthday cake/card.

The design team have created some great inspiration full of "F" elements, be sure to stop by the challenge blog and check them out!

Stamp Review Crew..."Botanical Blooms" Edition!

 Stamp Review Crew

Welcome to another edition of Stamp Review Crew. For this hop we are showcasing one of my fave Stampin Up sets to date "Botanical Blooms". It's such a pretty and detailed set and the co-ordinating thinlits are gorgeous too!
With spring on the horizon, l went with So Saffron-Peekaboo peach & Pear pizzazz and teamed them up with crisp white to keep it fresh and clean.

If you are following the hop you would have just arrived from the very talented and creative blog of Val Moody. But if you have landed here and wish to begin at the start, just click on the Stamp Review Crew banner up top or you can continue on your way by hitting the next banner below.
