Gifting with Wondrous Wreath!..

Happy Sunday to you!....With our challenge topic at Just Add Ink being all about gifting and sharing the love, l thought l'd share another of gift packaging l made for a Christmas lunch with friends.
I really enjoyed using the "Wondrous Wreath" set on lot's of projects this year and this was one of the colour combinations l created with.
Bermuda Bay-Gold & White, it really is a very pretty combination!

Happy Boxing day everyone!....I hope you're all enjoying a chilled day today, after the Christmas crazy..:0)

Which brings me to this weeks Just Add Ink challenge.  It's all about giving! My projects are some l made for a Christmas catch up with friends.
They were made with the "Gift Box Punch Board" in Very Vanilla cardstock.

Festival of Trees #3....

A short post from me today, as my eldest baby is celebrating her 30th Birthday today and there is partying to be done..:0)
Her actual birthday is Christmas eve and like me, being a "Christmas Baby" generally doesn't allow for big celebrations, but this being a milestone, was one that called for a big celebration with family,  friends and probably a large quantity of champagne..:0)

As with my previous Christmas card posts, this is another quick, CAS card!

Festival of Trees Gift Card Holder!..

It seems to be a sign of the times, that giving vouchers/money is a common Christmas gift option these days!...Not one l love, but definitely practical for teens and those wanting to combine a few to buy a larger item.
That being said, rather than just handing them over as they are, l like to pretty them up a bit and this is one of the "Gift card Holders" I'm giving this year.

It was created with a base of 4.1/8" x 11.1/2" Scored @ 3.3/4"-5.3/4"&7.3/4".
Fold and tape the 3.3/4" & 7.3/4" scorelines to form the pocket flap and hold the pocket closed.
I used the Word Window punch to create the pocket opening (punching on the fold) and the 3/4" circle punch to make a finger grab.
The top layers are Bermuda Bay-3.7/8" x 3.1/2" & Whisper White- 3.5/8" x 3.1/4"

Iredescent Ice Bauble!

As l mentioned in my last post, l'd decided CAS was going to be the only achievable option if l was going to get any Christmas cards sent out on time..:0)
Today's card uses the Scalloped Tag Topper punch to create a bauble effect with some partial die cutting and an all over layer of Iridescent Ice embossing powder....It's so pretty and sparkly IRL! But incredibly hard to photograph..:0)

Festival of Trees #2....

Evening!.....With the Christmas cray in full swing and limited creative time, l decided to make a batch of super CAS cards, which I'll be sharing over the coming days.
They were all created using a variance of this weeks Just Add Ink sketch and the colours of my DT sample in mind, that and the fact that l still hadn't cleaned my work space and they were still sitting there..:0)

Just Add Ink #244.....Sketch!

With only two weeks until Christmas Tina has provided us with a lovely sketch  for creating Christmas Cards with. Although you can use the sketch for any occasion, as some of the design team have done.
For a look at their lovely projects, you can pop over to the Just Add Ink challenge blog and check them out.
As you can see, l went with Christmas and made a quick and simple card and pretty much stuck to the sketch, using the "Festival of Trees" set.

Wondrous Wreath & JAI colours!

Evening all!...Just popping in to share a second card l created in this weeks Just Add Ink challenge colours.
While had everything still out from creating my sample, l thought l'd try the partial die cutting technique with the same products. It's half of an A4 cardbase, folded in half and then in half again....It's a bit cute and dainty and makes a sweet little gift card, for when you don't want to give a standard size.
The white inside panel, opens the opposite direction, to allow for a hidden greeting.

Just Add Ink #243....Colour!

Happy December people!....Can you believe it's only 20 sleeps until the big chubby guy arrives?  I really thought l was on top it all this year, but l just sat down with a cuppa and notepad to make a list and guess what?....I'm so NOT!   Oh well, there's always late night shopping...:0(

It's  time for our first December challenge at Just Add Ink and Kim has given us a gorgeous colour palette to play with and one that l think works surprisingly well for Christmas.

And of course, with my packaging obsession, there just had to be a box or two involved..:0) These were made with the "Gift Box Punch Board" using three of the cube sizes.

White: 1.75x1.75x1.75  Red: 2.5x2.5x2.5   Blue:3.25x3.25x3.25.

Lovely Lace in Bermuda!...

Afternoon all!...I thought l'd share the other card l made with the "Choose Happiness" set, this one was inspired by this pretty card from Daniela. I absolutely love her minimalist style.
It was the perfect excuse for inking up my "Lovely Lace" background stamp too!
